Who We Are

About Us

Nisqually Comfort is a local, veteran-owned heat pump company serving the Snoqualmie Valley. We bring a different kind of thinking to home heating and cooling, combining building science, hands-on diagnostics, and a commitment to craftsmanship that the HVAC industry rarely delivers.

We don’t play “good, better, best” with heat pump installation. We design one best solution from the start. Every system is backed by 10-year labor and parts warranties and is built around whole-home thinking using industry-leading Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps.

Our Story

Nisqually Comfort was founded by Jake and JT, two people who came to the HVAC industry from completely different directions.

Jake spent 15 years as a software engineer, including time at Conduit, an HVAC software company focused on building science and load calculations. That background gave him a deep appreciation for data, precision, and doing things the right way rather than the easy way.

JT brings over a decade of military service to the business, along with the discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to accountability that comes with it.

Neither came from traditional HVAC backgrounds. They taught themselves the trade from the ground up, studying industry resources, running tests on their own homes, and building a company that isn’t constrained by “we’ve always done it this way.” The result is a business built entirely on data, craftsmanship, and long-term thinking.

Today, Nisqually Comfort focuses exclusively on modern Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps and home performance, pairing careful diagnostics with a commitment to long-term relationships, not quick sales.
